- Who should be notified?
- You must go in person to any Comcast payment center. (Look in the phone book for the location closest to you.)
- Who can notify them? What documents are needed?
- Anyone who knows the last 4 digits of the deceased’s Social Security number, their account number or the amount of their most recent payment can cancel an account.
- If no password, can survivor receive one? How?
- You can receive the password but, supposedly, only by going in person to the Comcast office in the area in which the deceased lived.
- Process for inactive accounts?
- Comcast continues to bill the account holder until the account is cancelled by someone.
