Dying Intestate Wyoming

Married with no children
The spouse is entitled to the entire estate.
Married with child or children
If the deceased leaves a surviving spouse and children, or the descendants of any children surviving, one half of the estate goes to the surviving spouse and the remainder goes to the surviving children and the descendants of those children.
Order of estate distribution if spouse survives
The portion of the estate not going to the surviving spouse passes in the following order:
1) Children or descendants of any children
2) Descendant’s parents, siblings and descendants of sibling who are deceased
3) Grandparents, uncles, aunts and their descendants
No spouse survives but there are other relatives
1) Children or descendants of any children
2) Descendant’s parents, siblings and descendants of sibling who are deceased
3) Grandparents, uncles, aunts and their descendants
Order of estate distribution if decedent not married, widow or widower
1) Children or descendants of any children
2) Descendant’s parents, siblings and descendants of sibling who are deceased
3) Grandparents, uncles, aunts and their descendants
No surviving relatives
The decedent’s property will got o the state of Wyoming.
